“Can I steal the bed?”

I stayed at The Macquarie Inn twice over a 5 day period due to work. I want to steal the bed! Its 3 pillows wide and sooooo comfortable! “I'll be back”

Reception was staffed by wonderful people who made one feel very welcomed The room was great and so were the cleaning staff. In fact all the staff had smiles. Room service was also good. It was also good to be able to access the club without going outside as it was either raining or very hot and windy .

“Above average for the area”

Stayed here with 2 children and myself. The room was neat, modern and spacious. The setting was a little isolated. Pricing was average, though expensive to add a second young child.

Friendly helpful staff who allowed me into my room at 11 in the morning.Very quiet and roomy with an upmarket feel.Having the club facilities is good for those who don't want to go out.A contrast to those box like neon lit establishments with thin walls and an on the highway location.

“Lovely room and setting over river”

Impressive hotel let down by poor staffing, excessive laundry costs, poor in house dining and even less acceptable dining options. Dining is part of the adjoining club which is not attractive despite the possibility.
