I have stayed at this hotel twice in recent months, it is a bit "out in the sticks" but if you want a reasonably priced hotel with extensive grounds, then this could be the place for you. There is nothing particularly wrong with this hotel, pleasant staff, nice location, clean and well maintained, but it could still do with some... More

I have not been to a Harvester or Beefeater for over 15 years but I'm sure they would have been better. 3-4 main qualities a restaurant should have and Marco's fell short on each one. Average service, poor drinks, appalling food (at any price) and the building is just wrong. We had a reservation for 8.30 and on arrival at... More

We stayed here for 1 night before flying from Bristol Airport. Receiving welcome cookies at check-in was a nice touch, as were the flapjacks with coffee / tea making in the room. We used The Club, the gym and pool on site, which is a local members club so is bigger than the usual hotel fitness area - also busier.... More

stayed for one night while christmas shopping in bath and bristol. Great value for money, with a good breakfast selection in the morning even if the pastries were a little dry. We also used the health club facilities which were great. I would also recommend it as a great airport stop over as its not far. Reception staff were very... More

Myself and my partner enjoyed a 2 night stay recently. The hotel staff were very polite and helpful although the service at breakfast was a little slow. The room was very clean and extremely quiet. We got lost on our first journey back from the room to Reception so I'd say maybe a few more signs would be helpful. We... More

Four years ago for my 60th birthday in September I hosted a cocktail party with sleepover at DoubleTree by Hilton, Cadbury House near Bristol. It was fantastic however a few friends couldn’t make it so we organised a dinner with sleepover in the January. This unofficial birthday date for approximately 12 friends has become a fixture on our social calendar.... More

Great hotel with typical Hilton standard. We had a deluxe room, fantastic bed, great view out towards the coast (sixth floor). Massive TV will all the bells & whistles, tea/coffee settee and work desk. No WiFi, but a LAN cable if you needed to work (for a fee). Interesting point of the room was the en-suite, where there was a... More

We have stayed at this hotel once before and were not very impressed on that occasion. There were two weddings which took over the whole hotel and there was nowhere for other guests to sit. We returned for one night this January to visit family in the area and as this hotel is the closest we decided to give it... More

We had a two day break, the receptionist was excellent, really helpful and cheerful. Room was good, everything you want, bed very comfortable, we had a room at the back (308) very quiet. The PMW Restaurant was disappointing, whilst the staek was very tasty, Six chips and two onion rings for £25??? perhaps I am getting old?? Mind you it... More

My husband and I have been going to Cadbury House hotel on a regular basis for about 4 years and have seen a lot of changes both good and bad. The thing that kept us coming back was the wonderful dinner dances and fancy balls that they put on. We have attended them on a regular basis over the last... More
