We were very mislead by the comments people had made about this bed and breakfast. When we arrived the pub was closed and a mobile number posted on the door, a young girl did come to the door and we later found out that she was managing the pub with another young man. We had asked for a room inside... More

The beer was good and the pub food was fine. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was up to standard. We stayed upstairs in a double room and although the building itself is old the room itself could be better. I have stayed in other pub hotels in this part of UK and the rooms have generally been to... More

4 of us from austria spent a few nights here .Very central to all the top links golf courses. The rooms were finebut the bathrooms could do with redoing. Rather old. We eat every night in the pub and the food was super. Full english breakfast was also super. Would reccomend the crispin inn to anyone .

I wanted some peace and quiet away from the city and happened upon this beautiful 15th century inn where I stayed for 2 nights recently. My room was in the courtyard behind the main building and was spotlessly clean with a very comfortable bed. The staff are welcoming and friendly which is always a bonus for a solo traveller. I... I recently travelled to the St Crispin Inn with my husband for a 2 night break. We were greeted by a very friendly member of staff who showed us to our room. We had one of the rooms above the pub. Everything was lovely and clean and of a high standard. We decided to have our evening meal in the... More

If you are looking to stay in a 15th century inn don't stay here. These are poorly built chalets with very dirty dated decor. You stay in a beer garden with smoking tables less than a metre from your door. The door didn't shut properly so draughts and sounds are a major issue. The village is lovely but the owners... More

First night out in about a year with my partner resulted in utter dissapointment. Taken through a mish mash pub unsure of its identity and target market out into what can only be discribed as a slum...The chalet which we were shown to was in the midddle of a poorly maintained beer garden full of rusty grubby garden furniture looking... Have stayed at the St Crispin three times in the past four years and always been more than satisfied. Even taken friends there on a couple of occasions. However our fourth visit this weekend was disappointing. The standards seem to have slipped. I did enquire if there had been a change of owners since our last visit and wasn't surprised... More
