The place was ideally located, basically..., in the middle of nowhere, just in a little side road in Kent countryside, witch does not have even numeration! In my opinion the perfect place to scape from the hustle & bustle of the busy cities and feel true peace and quiet in a outstanding countryside. With beautiful green landscapes, not only in... More

Beech Bank is a lovely home with wooden beams, beautiful grounds and a warm welcome. Yes, it has some quirky rules due to being in the middle of the countryside and having a well etc. and having to pay cash rather than cheque (no more cheque guarantee cards) or card (expensive for such a small enterprise) but it's a relaxing,... We arrived there after spending 1h looking for it, is quite invisible form the road, obviously the landlady on the phone wasn't very helpful and once we arrived there (almost exhausted) she told us that the way it's very well indicated... Then induction time came, be prepared to strict rules and not much flexibility, it seems that the landlady is... More

It's a shame about this B&B because it's lovely, but the cash thing hacks everyone off - which it wouldn't IF you were told in advance!! It's too small to recognise on the website and, to be honest, in this day and age, you are just not expecting it.

1. By far one of the best location, tranquil, quintessential English countryside. So full marks for that. 2. The downside: Landlady not very warm, comes across as a bit bossy, rooms are a bit small, family rooms doesn't have ensuite and overpriced at £95/night for a family room, breakfast is average (a few cereals, eggs, toast, coffee and juice), and... Not easy to find down a long winding country lane but clean and tidy interior. Had bedroom on first floor. The two other guest rooms are on the ground floor. TV didn't work. Bathroom was very pokey and bed quite uncomfortable but maybe just our preference versus others who stay here. Tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Seems to be... More

We booked this B&B for one night as Canterbury had nothing available and was told we could only check n between 6pm and 8pm which I thought was a bit strict. Had a very stressful time actually trying to find the place which when we arrived only had a sign saying AA on the gate and no name (very unhelpful).... More

We found this place by accident and were surprised by it's location (not far from Canterburry) , the friendly owners en the nice (but basic) breakfast. The rooms are very spacious and very clean!!! A place to go!

Sat nav not very helpful to find Beech Bank, so rely on owners' instructions. Beautifully pretty, clean house, lovely grounds and very friendly owners. Three rooms for guest accommodation - all very pretty. As we stayed just for 3 nights we were given the gallery room, which is very small, but as the weather was very good this was no... More

As other guests have said, lovely house and gardens. Room O.K. not great. No ensuite! Owner friendly on arrival & helpful. Only b&b offered -thought they should offer sandwiches etc as so deep in county and no shop anywhere near and is presented as 4* AA rating.. Its a good stop-over place to stay if u bring your own food,... More
