Beautiful setting, lovely old pub, helpful, friendly staff........bad food : ( The menu is huge, whilst its nice to have so much choice, the kitchen evidently can't cope, just make the menu smaller and do it well, rather than do a large menu badly!! Simples!! I love this pub, visit a lot, but, ill only order crisps : )

The surroundings are the only good thing going for this establishment. The food is terrible. Its over priced and not as described on the menu. We will never return there and would advise you go somewhere else and learn from our mistake.
