Such a pretty place beautiful rustic buildings, rambling garden, well decorated bedroom, slighty eccentric hosts! Lovely breakfast fruit, yogurts, cheese, toasted brioche and lots of homemade preserves. Good dinners around a big table with other guests always makes for interesting evenings. Just watch the price though,we were not aware that it is more expensive at the weekends. However we enjoyed our... More

This is a place of pure magic. Arriving in the courtyard of the Ferme is the kind of enchantment one expects to experience only in a motion picture. The architecture, specific to this area of Burgundy, is beautiful and restored only as much as it should be to retain all of its character. Yet the rooms are so beautifully conceived... More

We stayed here in Sept 2010 . It was the most amazing stay- it was such a shame we only booked one night. The rooms have been decorated to top end hotel standard and are immaculately clean. Marie Eugenie is the ultimate host . We enjoyed tea and home baked goodies in the lounge which was decorated with antiques and... More

We stayed at the Ferme for a couple of days on our way from the Loira Valley to Switzerland. The warm welcome of Marie Eugenie and her husband in the garden was very nice. The place is just perfect, the rooms are carefully decorated and clean. I recommend having dinner there at least one night, we met people from very... More

We stayed three nights at La Ferme in June, and really enjoyed our stay. It's in a lovely, peaceful rural setting, the restored barn accommodation is excellent and sitting in the garden after a day's touring was a delight. The highlight, however, is Marie-Eugenie's hospitality and home cooked food, all enjoyed in an authentic French country setting. Our only reservation... More

We stayed here for a night on our way home from the South of France last month. The welcome was cool, dinner was disappointing ( a small guinea fowl shared between four), wine was overpriced (e20 for an unlabelled bottle of Cote de Provence) but the worst thing was the breakfast - no croissants or fresh bread - just toasted... We stayed here for one night on our way down to Provence and had a fantastic stay. It's a beautiful property, sympathetically refurbished by Mari-Eugenie and her husband, The interiors are warm, homely and the bedrooms supremely comfortable. Marie-Eugenie is a consumate host and an excellent cook. Our table d'hote was a real highlight of our trip and I cannot... More

We stayed for 2 nights on our way back from the Dordogne. Marie-Eugenie is a remarkable host. Her husband has done an amazing job refurbishing the farm (he did most of the work himself and it looks really professional). The bathrooms are very modern and comfortable (rain showers!). The atmosphere is intimate ... but you better like the other guest,... More

We've stayed here for 6 days in the end of may. What could be better? It's a wonderful quiet place with nice garden and a beatiful view on the nearby nature, with its flowers, singing birds and an unforgettable view of the stars in the sky at night. It sleeps very well in this place, so you can have a... More
