My daughter and I stayed here on the weekend of 1st June 2013 and can't praise it highly enough. It's probably the nicest place I've ever stayed. A beautiful thatched cottage in a rural location, but near enough to towns, countryside and beach. Our room, overlooking the church, was charming, with the added bonus of a small sitting room if... Although undoubtedly a lovely building I was left with the distinct impression that this establishment is run for money and not for the love of hospitality. informed the landlord that we would be up for breakfast at 9am on Sunday morning. We were ten minutes late for this and unceremoniously informed the kitchen was shut. We were also asked if... More

Beautiful rooms, wonderful welcome and lovely breakfast. The rooms were spacious and well appointed, allowing for the delightful character of the place. Not all the rooms were on suite but we were a group of friends and that caused no problems at all! Fantastic locked shed at end of garden was offered to us for storing our bikes in overnight... More

Very welcoming, fantastic building with a lot of history attached to it. We were greeted by Bob the owner, who was so friendly and accommodating. He showed us to our room which had two windows, both overlooking the beautiful gardens, with chickens running round. The room was a lovely size and just across the landing was a large well fitted... The building has been carefully renovated to modern standards without sacrificing character. Room and bathroom were both very spacious and comfortably furnished, I couldn't have asked for more. Bob, the host, was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. If in need of a place to stay in the area for one night or many, look no further, you will not find... More

I happened across the Old Church Farm and managed to book the last room the twin deluxe room. Bob our host met us and showed us to our pleasant room, there was no ensuite but we had the use of a full bathroom just next door and a small sitting room to use if we needed extra room. Bob was... More

We stayed here for 1 night - family room is very spacious and comfortable, shower room compact but functional. The B&B is on a main road, but traffic noise is minimal at night and we all slept well. We enjoyed a very good breakfast including excellent home-made summer fruits jam. And a big thanks to Bob for my gluten-free bread... More

A very warm and friendly welcome from Bob to his absolutely gorgeous thatched cottage. The family room was massive with three windows overlooking the garden and village church and the double bed was very comfortable. Small but adequate bathroom. Breakfast was very nice with a good selection of fresh food. Room was cleaned daily with fresh towels and little extras... More

We only stayed one night but what a super bed and breakfast. The room was spacious and the beds extremely comfortable. At breakfast we were treated to treacle scones and breakfast muffins. Delicious melon and blueberries followed by a freshly cooked eggs, mushrooms and tomatoes. Oh yes, and homemade jam and marmalade. We could not have had a friendlier welcome.
