Wow! From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, we were made to feel so welcome. We were shown our rooms and Janette then made us a lovely cup of tea. All of the rooms are of the highest standard and spotlessly clean. The beds are really comfy with tea making facilities and a TV in each room.... More

Dick Many thanks to you and family for the hospitality extended to us during our stay at Mill House. The room was superb with both bed and ensuite shower top notch and most welcome after a days motorcycling. Breakfast the following morning after a superb night sleep was spot on and you could not of been a better host. Safe... More

I am currently staying in the single room and will be staying long term as I have started a new job locally and my house in the Midlands is not sold yet. I couldn't wish for a more comfortable, clean and 'homely' place to stay. The bed is really comfortable and the area by the kitchen to watch television or... More

I stayed in the double bedroom at Mill House in august. The room was exceptionally clean, warm and welcoming - and the en suite looked brand new. It was a very lovely stay. The house very much The B+B itself is very well laid out, so you do feel like you have your own private house almost. Janette and Richard... More

I had a very comforting stay at the Millhouse. The room with ensuite shower was grade A and was a pleasant surprise. It was a nice little insight into country life in Essex and i would recommend the Millhouse without hesitation.

I couldn't fault the accommodation that was on offer at Mill House nor the welcome I received from Janet and Richard. The rooms are furnished with quality beds, bed linen and furnishings throughout and the standard presented is what you would expect of a four star establishment. The rural location is perfect if staying in the Braintree area as it... More

I stayed at the Mill House B&B for a two month period in September and October 2011, I was working in the South East doing site safety visits from Peterborough to Canterbury so I needed some where central to all the sites. I was very fortunate to stay at the Mill House, I had a excellent comfortable room with en-suite... More
