I have stayed in this hotel several times when in the area for a conference. It is comfortable, friendly and has an excellent pool. And the free glass of port in the lobby always good! The town of Ovar is not particularly interesting, but I definitely recommend this hotel if you are passing this way.

we stayed at the mia lua for 7 days we found the hotel very clean
the pool was very nice, the breakfast was plentfull(if allways cold)
the rooms were a little small for thre people.
ovar was very quiet and desperatly lacking in restuarants
the beach at fumoduoro was beutifull and how cheap is portugal...!!!!

This small friendly hotel is located in centre of OVAR,just some 30 minutes from Porto.It's 5 minutes from the train station with trains running every 30 minutes to Porto.This hotel is excellent for the business traveler, as it is close to the conference center.Also good for hose visiting the Porto area.
