The five of us drove from Mijas through dramatic mountain senery to the Andalucian White Village of El Burgo in the Sierra de las Nieves Nature Park. lovely room, lovely bathroom, lovely lift, lovely shared balcony, lovely breakfast, lovely staff, lovely atmosphere. lovely and cool, lovely views from our room on the top floor...the one that is pictured with the beams, lovely coffee, lovely!

There is not much choice of accommodation in this area and La Casa Grande is a good value rustic hotel . It is in the centre of El Burgo but it is well signposted from the main road. The whole building and the rooms have a nice rustic feel to them and our room had a bath and good shower.... More

this is an amazing place to stay,i could only give it ten out of ten. Clean ,comfortable and a fantastic personal touch from all members of staff! Great base for touring,walking or cycling,will be stopping there in a weeks time and im really looking forward to it. Richard Hales 8th jan 2007
