Have stayed at this B&B recently and found it very good. Overall rooms are very clean and spacious. Breakfast excellent especially the home baking. Tea/coffee is always on offer when you need it. My only complaint was there was no heating on even though it was cold out. Everything else was excellent

Beautiful home, easy to find, very pretty comfortable room. I highly recommend this B&B and would stay there again. Our room was lovely and the breakfast wonderful. They even made us tea on our arrival and yummy it was. This B&B was easy to find, plenty of parking space, and close to the center of town.

I arrived to Stradbally for a training course and was greeted with a very warm welcome. The bedroom was excellent and peace and quiet meant for an easy sleep. I was delighted that one evening I came back to find my towel in the shape of a swan! Origmai as well as home made scones and bread. A truely wonderful... More

A warm welcome was given to us and the accommodation was spacious, well appointed and extremely clean. Breakfast was delicious. Full marks. Only snag is that the location in Stradbally more or less means driving to Portlaois for an evening meal...but it's an easy drive.

Myself and my son, have just spend the weekend at Tall Trees B&B Stradbally and could not fault it. We slept very well as the beds were comfortable and the room was very pleasant and spotlessly clean. The amenities were everything you would expect from a four star establishment, but this is not why I am recommending it. I was... More

We stayed as a couple and was joined by our daughter and three year old son. The rooms were immaculate and very cosy and most importantly the beds were comfy, bathrooms spotless. The breakfast was the best we have had anywhere. Infact it was the best overall stay in Ireland and only a bit over an hour from the Dublin... More

Charming, helpful hosts. Most hospitable & welcoming. Much trouble taken with breakfast. Extremely comfortable, well-appointed room. Allowed us access to kitchen at any time for a cup of tea. Good car space. Great local knowledge of things to do & see. Interested in our travels & life at home. Definitely recommend to all travellers.

My father and I travelled across Ireland and stayed in B&Bs for the duration. This was the best of the ones we stayed in and we wished we were able to stay there longer (we were only in the area for one night). Booking couldn't have been easier - we called from the road the day we needed to stay... More

Kathleen welcomed us so nicely and warm that we would have liked to stay. We got so many good recommendations and appreciated evry one of them. Tall Trees is a fantastic B&B and to be recommended to everyone who is travelling to Portlaoise. Very nice room, comfortable beds and also nice and clean bathroom.

My partner and I stayed in Tall Trees for one night as we had an event to attend in nearby Ballintubbert. Kathleen & Eamon both welcomed us and made us feel at home right off the bat. The house is gorgeous, clean and extremely well kept.. as for the room.. I've never stayed in a more comfortable bed with sheets... More
