Rob, one of the two owners, was waiting on the sidewalk for my arrival; a warmer welcome would not have been possible. It is like being invited into a private home. Rob immediately remembers everyone's name, and introduces each guest at the breakfast table. This helps to avoid the initial uneasy silence when sitting for the first time with strangers.... More

As soon as we arrived, Rob made us feel right at home and gave us a tour of the house and our art studio room. Our room was filled with beautiful art created by Joel and had a very unique, comfortable, well designed layout. We came with no plan for our time in the city; however, we didn't need one.... More

Stayed only 3 nights and 2 days in this beautiful home. Rob and Joel made my friend and I feel immediately welcomed and at home. (They were also kind enough to be flexible with our very late check-in time due to a delayed flight.) The rooms are beautifully decorated and amazingly comfortable. Guests are well-prepared with spare towels, an equipped... More

recently joined a womanfriend for a visit to montreal. she found rob and joel's terrific b&b in the village. i'm a privacy freak, and confess that normally i dodge b&b's because i never feel i have enough personal space, time to myself, etc. however - rob ensconced us in the basement level, we each had our own cozy room (FABULOUSLY... The other reviewers are correct -- this really is a wonderful place to stay. I rarely enjoy a place enough to feel motivated to leave a review, but La Loggia (and Rob & Joel) is worth it. My girlfriend of 2 years and I were on our first real vacation together, and while we were only at La Loggia one... More

Wonderful, clean comfy, we didn't want for anything during our stay. Conversations over breakfast made us feel as if we were visiting old friends. I would definitely tell anyone traveling to Montreal to stay at this lovely B&B, truly a home away from home.

Every morning we had spirited conversations about the sights and sounds as well as the history of the city. The B and B is immaculately clean. Rooms are spacious and... More

I had a WONDERFUL time at La Loggia Art & Breakfast. Three friends and I spent a well deserved vacation in Montreal and loved our stay at this B&B. Our hosts, Rob & Joel, made us feel at home. In addition to the wonderful attractions of Montreal, our vacation was made complete with stimulating conversation, coffee, and breakfast. The breakfast... More

A Victorian house renovated into a charming BnB, furnished in a lovely and comfortable manner. It's located in the heart of the village with lots of great little cafes and restos, which are on a list for guests' guidance. The room was very comfortable indeed and had a nice little patio in back, perfect for summer months. Rob is a... More

Hosts Rob and Joel care for every aspect of their guests; the outstanding breakfast of local foods, the pristine condition of their rooms, and their genuine concern about guests' interests to make spot-on recommendations for activities and dining. Their love of art and knowledge of Montreal added enormously to our visit. (Although i hesitate to publish this rave review, because... More
