My fiance and I just recently stayed two nights at this hotel, we got the top floor apartment #707. There is no elevator in this building, so you do have to go up quite a few stairs, we didn't really mind since we are both very athletic, but I can see that being a problem for older people or people... I stayed in the Auberge du Vieux Port Lofts. I got the top floor apartment - #707 - which was a climb up a great deals of stairs - the room itself was very nice, sunny, bright, well equipped, huge shower and jacuzzi bath, with nice little kitchen. BUT at night it was very noisy, the first night a group... More

This was a great pretend-you-live-here space for a long weekend in Old Montreal. Loved the view of Saint Paul Street below, a reminder of what awaited once you stepped outside. Studio came with an induction stovetop (no oven) which was great for putting together meals from the market and depanneur, as well as the usual coffeemaker (with filters) and full... More

Perfect mix of old Montreal style and modern convenience. The rooms are well equipped and inspire a sense of times past. The area has a ton of tourist attractions and you are minutes away from shopping and the commercial hub that is today's downtown Montreal.

Amazing lofts in the vieux port. Was surprised to find out that it was a fully functional apartment. Jacuzzi, rainforest shower, fireplace, couches, full kitchen. Complemented a mindblowing weekend well. Staff at the front desk were very accommodating and the hotel was in the right in the middle of the old port and thus was in a great location for... More

I booked a week vacation for my wife and myself at the Lofts du Vieux-Port. To impress her I paid extra for a Deluxe-Loft, the most prestigious type of room offered. I'm not sure which let us down more; the room or the staff. Either way I won't be back. Immediately after we were shown to our room we discovered... More

The good: Unbeatable location, large and well designed space, the front desk staff at the Augerge du Vieux Port helped secure reservations to some very difficult to get into restaurants. Fun restaurant, Modavie, downstairs. Safe in the closet. Nice umbrella in our loft #803 (but not my oarents'). Washer/dryer in hallway. The Bad: The lofts are in several buildings. My... More

I have had several wonderful stays at these loft properties. I have stayed in three different styles, all very well appointed (mix of rustic & modern). My husband & puppy accompanied me on one very long business trip. The staff was amazing and just as happy to see my puppy as I was when they arrived. My sister also joined... More

In 2009 2 girlfriends & I stayed in the lofts - this time it was a business meeting with my husband. The lofts did not disappoint either time. Both times I was in the same bldg - above the Auberge steakhouse - but in different lofts. You have all the amenities over at the hotel, but you are across the... More

Hi, we were 2 couples staying in a Loft for one night. We love the old atmosphere but we were disapointed with the quality of the kitchen and bathroom. they were 1970s not renovated. The slanted wood floors gave the old look and feel. The loft was a block away for the actual hotel.
