This hotel is built into the corner of Desjardins Complex fast food and shopping Center, on the corner of St Catherine Street and Rue Jeanne Mance which is the main downtown street for things going on in Montreal, like city shows and concets are just across the street (but mainly in the summer) there is the Theatre Maissonneuve and L'Opéra... Thank you for your comments and I am pleased that you enjoyed the hotel.I do hope that you can sample the international wines in our wine bar on your next visit. I do apologize if the wines were unavailable on that particular day due to servicing. As an alternative to the $30.00 hotel valet parking, the indoor mall parking downstairs... More

Husband and I stayed here for one night in January just for a quick get-away and we were very happy with our our stay. Room was very clean and bed was super comfortable. Pretty average room amentities (ie. ipod doc, coffee maker, safe, mini fridge, flat screen tv). The bathroom was clean (small - but clean), but lacking on the... More

We are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay! What lovely positive feedback, thank you. Yes, our new-concept self-serve wine bar is extremely popular with our Guests. It affords the opportunity of sampling a host of international wines "by the glass". You must return in the summer months and experience our beautiful outdoor terraces overlooking the downtown entertainment district of... More

We stayed at the Montreal Hyatt for a long holiday weekend. We were very happy with our our stay. The furniture in our room was modern and there were robes, extra pillows, blankets, plenty of nice-quality toiletries. The bed was very comfortable, and the ipod/radio in the room was easy to use and good sound quality. The pod coffee makers... More

You mentioned our new state-of-the art glass fireplaces...did you have the opportunity of experiencing our international wines "by the glass" at our new-concept self-serve wine bar? Cards... More

Stayed for 2 nights in Jan 2012. Pros: 1. Great location - right on top of mall with elevator connection so close to food court and right in downtown Montreal. 2. Got really cheap rate on priceline. Cons: 1. PARKING EXTRA $19 PER DAY 2. Pool water cold 3. Safe in room didn't work 4. Refrigerator in room didn't work... More

Thank you for your comments which assist us in correcting any deficiencies in either our product or service. The indoor parking below the hotel is owned by the mall complex and not the hotel. However the $19.00 parking fee is extremely competitive for a downtown hotel, especially in the heart of the entertainment district and within walking distance of the... More

We went there two times at the end of 2011, one night mid December, one night end of December. The room was nice, but the breakfast was so bad, regarding both the service and the poor quality of the food, that we changed our second reservation after the first stay, from a breakfast inclusive package to a night only package,... Thank you very much for your feedback, and we are pleased that you enjoyed both the hotel and your room. The #1 best feature of this hotel is the fact that it's connected to the underground. Within a 2-minute indoor walk, you can access a pharmacy, a food court, a liquor store. Notre Dame Cathedral is about 10 minutes of indoor walk followed by maybe 2 minutes of outdoor walking. The subway system is also accessible via the underground path... More

A good hotel ideally located. You have access downstairs to the 'underground city' and the subway - especially useful when it is cold out. The hotel is on one of the main streets in town so you are close to all the action - our room overlooked the Place des Arts - where in summer there is always something going... More

This hotel is very well located in Montreal, close to Place des Arts and the Orchestra house. Service has improved a lot since Hyatt took over the place. And the price is competitive, at least in the winter time. Located in the eastern part of the city where french is predominant. Large public place available downstairs with restaurants, shops etc.... Stayed here for a romantic weekend away. I give this hotel a 4 star rating because (1) of its amazing location; (2) reasonable price; and (3) the chic lobby/good-sized rooms. This hotel is located in the center of Montréal and there is no possibility to make a reservation in French. I asked for a French receptionist. I waited 15 minutes. Thank you for your comments, and I do apologize for the soiled corridor which was a result of several groups partying on New Years' Eve in the hotel.
