I am truly impressed with the quality of services at this place. During our stay there's been a power shortage on this and surrounding streets and everything became dark. I need to mention that the manager went above and beyond herself to make us feel comfortable still, brought us flashlights, lit the halls and stayed with many of us until... More

Positives: location near Spadina and Bloor, price, decor, simplicity, fresh air ( windows opened!), free wifi, quiet, lots of drawers. Good email contact prior to stay and directions on how to get in since we arrived late in evening. Negatives. Small crowded room (where to stash suitcase?), nobody on desk before 10 am or after ? pm. Blinds wouldn't close... More

We've just returned on Thursday from our vacation and part of it we spent at this house. It is a lovely place, very simple but very unique and extremely clean. Absolutely lovely young woman at the front desk, made sure we enjoyed every day. Good assortment of snacks. Our gratitude to them, we'll return next year.

We stayed at the Annex Quest House at the end of February. It was late and very cold when we arrived. Dion had left instructions on checking in and once inside our room, we were able to heat up water for tea and coffee. The room was very clean and very cozy. Our room was at the front of the... More

We visited Toronto for 1 week on a business trip. On a day we arrived it was -20. It was very cold. Luckily the hotel was right next to the subway station so we didn't have to walk outside at all. They have provided water, snacks, coffee, which was all very helpful when you don't have time or it's too... More

I visited the U of Toronto for a week in early January and my stay at the Annex Quest House was really great. You can make tea, coffee and help yourself to free bottled water and granola bars if you so wish. Annex is centrally located, clean and comfy. Feels like rooms in a welcoming home.

I stayed for a few nights in January at the Annex Quest House before I could move into my permanent accommodation. As as U of T Exchange Student staying alone, I felt incredibly safe, staff were very friendly and felt I could always ask for help - emails back and fourth arranging the reservation were quick and very polite too.... This location is literally beside the Spadina subway. Clean and simple accommodations, courteous and professional staff, appropriately priced. We appreciated the bottled water and the snacks. We were pleased and will consider this location again in the future as an alternative to overpriced hotels.

Stayed here for a week in November - perfect location for my purposes, being right by the subway. Having a microwave and fridge in the room meant that I could cook some simple food and didn't need to eat out all the time. The staff were extremely helpful, providing a kettle for me to make tea, and letting me check... More

Spent 6 weeks at the Annex Quest House after my apartment was flooded. Stayed in 3 different rooms on 3 different floors since I was staying on a daily, then monthly, then weekly basis, with short notice on extending my stay each time. All 3 unit's bathrooms were A+; copper sinks are a nice touch. All 3 rooms had an... More
