The Turtle Inn is a beautiful and relaxing place to stay. The decor is inspired. It is located in a quite and charming little neighborhood, tucked well off of the main roads, while not being out of the way. Chris our host was very charming and a offered a quick witted conversation at breakfast. Breakfast itself is perfect, very well... More

Because of potentially poor roads in Jan., I waited til the night before I was travelling (from the Ottawa area to Toronto) to try to contact the Turtle Inn B & B in Toronto. First, I tried calling, but no one answered me or returned my call. The next morning, I tried calling again - same result. I also tried... More

On our stay there in July 2011, my husband accidently left the watch I had given him for our wedding anniversary. We contacted Turtle Inn and we were told (by Marc) that they had found the watch and would mail it back. After several weeks of not receiving it, we emailed and called again and were again assured it would... More

I stayed at the Turtle Inn while visiting Toronto in November of 2010 and booked the budget room. But the inn keeper (Marc) kindly put me in the Garden view room due to the cold temperatures. The rooms are very nicely furnished with a comfortable bed, clean and soft linens, a work desk, internet, cable, and phone with free calls... More

My husband and I stayed at the Turtle Inn for two mid-week nights in mid July, 2011. We were very happy with the room we had. The pool is very nice, and a great way to relax. The home is just a block or two from a few places to eat, so you can walk. Mark was very helpful in... More

I have read some of the other reviews here and I do want to make a point that it is only about a 25 min drive to downtown. Don't let this deter you though.. It is so worth it to stay here. Marc and Chris are some of the nicest hosts of a B&B I have ever met. It was... More

This was my first B&B experience. It was hard not to think of it as sleeping over at my friend's parents' place. It didn't help that this house reminded me of the cookie cutter subburbs homes my friends grew up in. Typical Canadian home. But don't pay too much attention to that. It's beautifully decorated! The hosts are beyond friendly,... More

Can't say enough about our hosts Marc and Chris, they are fantastic conversationalists and offer an amazing breakfast. The accomodations are very clean and well maintained. If you are looking for a B&B with personality and love conversation at breakfast this is a great place to stay. The drive to downtown was about 25 minutes. Very comfortable place to stay-high...
