This is a great hotel - very clean, efficient & friendly staff, great restaurant, conveniently located if you don't need to be downtown. I have stayed here multiple times over the past 3 years and will choose this hotel again when I am in Ottawa.

When we travel, we have one or two extra requirements. The Southway always accomodates us with extra effort. Our recent stay was New Year's Eve and the lobby was decorated with a life size Nativity and a miniature Christmas village better than I have seen anywhere. The Southway is an excellent hotel; modern accommodation, convenient, wonderful staff and a great restaurant. The fitness centre and salt water pool is fantastic. My wife and I attended an international convention there last January. As a result of this very pleasant experience, we have returned again. Highly recommended.

The Southway has to be the Jewel of all hotels in the Ottawa Region. We stayed in early December and had the wonderful opportunity to view the hotels outstanding Christmas spirit and of course, the Winter Wonderland Village and train display [a MUST see!!].

Really enjoyed my stay at the Southway.
Had access to lots in the surrounding community for food, shopping, entertainment and transit.
The room was very large, well appointed and good for my stay. The flooring and bathroom was a little dated but in good, clean condition.
