Location is great. The front desk team upon check in wasn't very friendly. Girl didn't stand up off of chair to greet. They had to downsize room because didn't have room booked through Hotwire. The Cartier Place was originally an apartment building. The suites, therefore, are large and have full kitchens that are stocked with dishes and pots. The romms are clean but they are worn. This was a perfect location and it was great to have two bedrooms and a kitchen/sitting room. Having a kitchen with a fullsize fridge stove microwave and dishwasher was a great perk. The shrimp cocktail in the restaurant is amazing. Our group of 20 rooms all loved being here.

I really don't know what to say here. I was shocked after seeing that this hotel had an average of 4 stars on Tripadvisor. The hotel is in an excellent location, very close to some great attractions. Restaurants are close by and the underground parking was a great feature. I would definitely stay here again with my family since it is pet friendly and the rooms have everything you need to feel at home.

Convenient location at a good price but there's a $25 per night charge for parking - a bit steep. Only 4 short blocks to the parliment buildings and one and a half to the Rideau Canal.
