This chain hotel is popular with people travelling north of this city for sking. boating plus other outdoor activities. Have stayed here over the years for family related activities as well. Never have had a bad experience here and the eatery within this place isn't bad as well.

We have stayed at the Travelodge Barrie several times over the past 2 years. Location is really convenient for getting on highway (30 sec) or getting downtown (4 min). There is a Timmies across the street! Best price in town, pet friendly (if booked in advance is best - though we have taken our chances and just walked in too).... More

We were in the Barrie area for a cross country skiing competition. The hotel was in a great location easily accesible from highway 400. Great value for the room. There were some noisy people during Saturday evening.
