Risley Hall single dorm room contained a single bed, small desk, washbasin, cupboard and free WiFi. Staff was very friendly, the dorm was quiet and the shower facilities were spotless. The location is somewhat far from Downtown, impersonal and not the place to stay if you want to meet other people. No breakfast available.

My daughter and I stayed for 2 nights at Howe Hall(Henderson House) to explore the University and Halifax. Room was dismal - cracked wood paneling above the bed, could use paint before summer rentals.
