Very quiet and comfortable, the Halliburton has nice breakfasts and is centrally located in Halifax. Plumbing is a bit old. The hotel is composed of several adjacent buildings, and you have to drag your luggage up steep stairs, and may have to move between buildings for breakfast or dinner. The Halliburton is well situated in Halifax within easy walking of the waterfront and town. There were lots of local places to eat. We found the Halliburton to be very conveniently located for visiting the sights of Halifax. Our nicely furnished room faced the street but we weren't bothered by any noise. The is a very nice boutique hotel. The staff is VERY HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY. THERE IS NO ELEVATOR - if you have a problem with stairs request a room on the lowest level.
