The food is very good, but the best part of staying here are Alfred and Kathleen MacLeod. They are the best hosts one could have. They provide a warm hospitality, helpful information on sights and restaurants, and as their website states, a truly immaculate home. My wife and I hope to stay with them again.

Run by super people who go out of there way to make you feel comfortable. Food was excellent, cleanliness awesome. The room was comfortable with a bathroom that I wish I had at home. Alfred and Kathleen go out of their way to make you feel welcome and "at home." This was one of the most pleasant stays of our trip, all-around. Comfortable and inviting common area for reading or watching TV. Alfred serves up an ample breakfast, too, with the best scrambled eggs we've ever eaten!

Quiet spotlessly clean B&B. Hosts are very accommodating and beyond expectations. Make you feel at home immediately. On quiet road, great place to walk with wonderful views at end of road. Pleasant comfortable room with large bathroom. Full, satisfying breakfast. We would highly recommend this lodging.

We stayed for 2 nights and had a very good experience. Excellent location - right on the cabot trail (mid point) - central and convenient to drive to Meat Cove and many hiking trails along the Cabot Trail.
