The Union Club in Victoria is located next to The Empress. It's 100 years old this year and a wonderful inn. With just 20 rooms on two floors overlooking the inner harbor, there's not much more you could want. It has a reading room, lounge, library, billiard parlor and dinning room. This hotel is part of a private club. It's right next door to the iconic Empress Hotel but charges a whole lot less. The suites are a real bargain and breakfast is included in the room rate.
