booked the executive suite directly with the hotel. The room(s) was spacious but on the basic side. Staff was fine, nothing usually to report either way. Parking was a problem as there are not enough spaces. Liked the location, liked the size of the room, and thought the value was good.

I was there for a weekend conference. The room was comfortable and the staff very helpful. It would have been nicer to have a water view, but registered late and was happy to be able to stay on the island.

last time i was there in 2011 mentioned the unfriendly staff. this time i must mention the friendly staff. other than that everything is the same - clean functional but small room. quiet. best location in vancouver. terrific. i was curious about the $14 oatmeal from room service but not curious enough to try.
