Yes there is a construction site next door to the hotel and yes it is noisy. But if you are out site seeing it'll be all over by 6pm. Don't be alarmed if you arrive earlier. Nice extras like free Internet computer and printing, decent breakfast, and free baggage storage. Thank you to the staff; we had a surprisingly comfortable... More

This Hotel is a hidden gem right beside the centre of downtown. Once you enter the building you feel set back to the beginning of the 20th century with lovely antique furniture and appliances. Especially this flair and the excellent customer service of the friendly and personable staff made us book our next stay already! The comments about the construction... More

On Richards Street, within walking distance of many restaurants, Stanley Park, the Maritime Museum, and a $10m cab ride from the train station, the Kingston Hotel is a gem. Friendly, helpful staff, clean room, decent price; I would stay there again.

I stayed here for 4 nights in July, selecting this hotel purely for its central location and price. With these criteria in mind, I admit I wasn't expecting a palace, but was very pleasantly surprised. The room was fine, a little stuffy initially, but a fan was provided. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly throughout the stay. Breakfast was... More

Stayed here for one night after a 14 hour flight from New Zealand and won't be in a hurry to come back. The room were clean but really small and very basic - not even a kettle to make tea! The double bed was the smallest I have ever seen in my life, I was almost scared to roll over... More

This is a nice hotel, but right now it is in the center of a huge construction project. Expect sleepless nights as trucks make deliveries and huge spotlights beam through the curtains. The construction is ongoing for the next year, at the moment it's just a huge hole in the ground. The rooms are tiny and it has shared bathrooms.... More

We stayed for four nights in late September and found it to be just as we expected having read the trip advisor reviews on it. The hotel is in the middle of a major construction project, being in fact the only building still standing on that part of the block. Construction noise is a consideration week days after around 07:00... More

We stayed in room 304 - with a queen bed and a private bathroom. We paid 120$ with taxes for a Saturday night to stay in the heart of Vancouver. We were minutes away from the West End, Granville Island, Kitsilano and downtown. The room was on the smaller side, but had really cute heritage features - original closets and... More

This must be the most inexpensive hotel in Vancouver. Situated centrally it is within walking distance of restaurants, bars, shops and ferry port (not with suitcases), less than 10cad by taxi. This hotel is clean, comfortable and friendly, staff were very helpful. It would be more expensive if the rooms were en suite, but we never had to wait for... More

Found via Trip Advisor. went for the 3/4 bed with shared bath. Room is VERY basic, no TV, no Clock, No Radio. Very small room, Breakfast was Bagel or Toast, a couple segments of Orange and Coffee or Tea. Was centrally located in the Downtown area and lots of things to do around. Room clean, but furnishings a bit on... More
