On Richards Street, within walking distance of many restaurants, Stanley Park, the Maritime Museum, and a $10m cab ride from the train station, the Kingston Hotel is a gem. Friendly, helpful staff, clean room, decent price; I would stay there again.

This is a nice hotel, but right now it is in the center of a huge construction project. Expect sleepless nights as trucks make deliveries and huge spotlights beam through the curtains.
