Worst place I stayed while on vacation in Canada for two weeks. Desk clerk was unfriendly. The room was horrible. Room smelled so stale and dirty I had to keep the window open all night. Carpet was badly stained and there were large cigarette burns everywhere. Supposedly I was in a non-smoking room, apparently it had recently been converted. I... More

The lobby smelled like cat urine and the carpet in the room was so filthy, slippers or shoes were required at all times. Fortunately we were there for only six hours. On the way back we stayed at a nicer, much nicer place that wasn't all that farther from the ferry and was even cheaper.

We stayed at this hotel as the place to be before getting on the ferry. It is close to the ferries and not far from downtown either. So it's location is convenient. The restaurant is still closed. The room was very clean as was the bathroom, the hallways and the lobby. And if the room had been $80 it would... More

I have stayed here a couple of times on an annual fishing trip to Prince Rupert. A couple of years ago I stayed there and thought it was a decent place to stay. The restaurant was good and the rooms were quiet and clean. This year it was not so great. The bar and restaurant were closed. My room was... More

The town is dead for 9 months of the year. We use property each year when out gathering the annual freezer load of salmon and bottom fish. It is what it is. Clean and good value for the $. Not the Ritz but there are a lot worse in Rupert. Judy at front desk always takes care of us.

Had reservations but on arrival had a sense things would not be good - looked dirty, smelled dirty, so we asked to see the room. The attitude of the desk clerk was immediately defensive, but she took us to see it. Immediately on entry ( it was dark and dingy as was the hallway) and smelled worse than out in... More

I cant comment on the hotel side of this place, But I've eaten here a few times and the food has been very good and the staff were always pleasant. Easily the best fish & chips in town, much nicer than "Smiles"

Washed our laundry in the so-called laundry room and ended up with the smell of dead fish in our clothing and suitcase. Wrote a very cordial e-mail and also called to see what could be done to make up for our wrecked clothing and suitcase. The initial phone call to a female named Judy was pleasant and helpful but the... More

Pro: quite big room, restaurant-pub in the same building, quiet location, free wireless, quite close to the ferries port Vs: not very clean, bathroom floor not cleaned during the morning service (hairs), noisy fridge, not very cheap, quite far from downtown (25 min walking) In summary: Not too bad
