The pipes are ticking in the wall, the shower is terrible, and I can hear the guest next door coughing and blowing his nose. I had a terrible night and can't wait to get out of here. Not worth the amount it cost.

Dear LaurieAnnG, thank you for sharing your feedback. I assure you that this is not the typical feedback that we receive. I am hoping that you could call me to discuss your experience. I would like to get some further information (room #, and date of stay) so that I may have our maintenance team look at the problem and...

Aloha - we had the opportunity to stay at the Blackfoot Inn this past week on business. I was part of the Hawaii Road show which was held in their ballroom. The staff is wonderful and the service was excellent. Front desk staff was very helpful. Naheed Walji, Rooms Division Manager was very attentive to my requests and was very...

Robin, thank you for you kind words. I could not have written a better review myself. Glad to hear you had a great stay, and look forward to welcoming you back!

Not bad overall but the workout room is terrible for the price. Restaurant is alright

Thanks for the review, Ryan! Good news: We'll have a completely renovated, ungraded and enlarged exercise facility by this time next year. Hope to see you back, tossin' around some iron and getting a pump on! (Actually, I probably won't see you doing those things. Employees aren't supposed to be in the gym).
Thanks again for taking the time to...

I stayed here last week on buisness. The room though small was very clean, and the bed has to be hands down the most comfortable I have had in a long time. The soaps and lotions that are in the room are great, right down to the makeup remover wipes! I did use the gym in the morning, and found...

Wow, thanks for the great review! We definitely pride ourselves on our signature Dreamcatcher beds; glad you enjoyed them. Keep an eye open for a ton of changes in the hotel, as well. We're talking new gym, new rooms, new make-up remover wipes (better ones) and so much more... One thing we're not changing, however, is our wonderful staff -...

Stayed here 3 nights for the World Juniors hockey last week. The hotel had a great deal on its site that included World Jr. Scarves (worth $32 each) and a $20 breakfast credit for 2 for each night, and 2 free beers in the pub for $119. The hotel is nice inside, the rooms very nice, and the front desk...

Great to hear you took advantage of our World Juniors promotion! It was quite entertaining seeing all the people wondering the halls with matching Team Canada scarves. Too bad we only took the bronze; on the bright side, however, the Russians didn't get gold! In Russia, hockey plays you!
Thank you very much for taking the time to write a...

We stayed at the Blackfoot Inn on the evening of our staff Christmas Party. We were at the Comedy Club with a large group and had booked ahead of time. The evening of the event there was a snow storm and the MC of the comedy club indicated that rooms would be discounted to $99.00 for anyone wanting to stay....

Very glad to hear you avoided the roads that night and got to stay with us. Hope to see you soon, there's some great shows coming up in the Laugh Shop that you will not want to miss!

We stayed here on Saturday night after a night of comedy at The Laugh Shop with friends. Of course, I never stay anywhere without consulting Tripadvisor first.... I was surprised that this hotel got the great reviews that it did. But I was pleasantly surprised when we got there and they were all true! The lobby is clean and well...

We're very glad to hear you enjoyed your stay with us, Canadianeh93! And that you took the time to share it with everyone on Tripadvisor - with perfect spelling and grammar to boot!
As for the coffee cups and glasses, I can't say I've ever heard that one, but I'll be sure to bring it up in the next management...

We have been staying at this hotel for years now. We have season tickets to Stage West Calgary with 5 shows per year and generally stay overnight at least one night. Take Deerfoot to Glenmore, then just a short jaunt to Blackfoot Trail and there it is. The hotel is located just a short distance from the theatre and lots...

Wow! It's so great to hear you've had 4 years of good times at the Blackfoot! I'll pass this review on to all of our staff with "Great Job!" as the subject and a picture of me giving a thumbs-up in the body.
We're glad you're having so much fun in Calgary and can't wait to have you back!

We checked in for one night using a discount web site and decided to stay for an extra night, we felt that the hotel staff were unreasonable with not giving us the room at the same price as the first night, even though we suspected that it would be cheaper using the web site, but as a secret hotel didn't...

Thanks for the review Michelle! You are, indeed, correct about Thursday night Laugh Shop tickets being complimentary for hotel guests. Right after I finish writing this management response I will bring this up with the powers that be as to make sure this does not happen again. In our defense, we have a brand new box office girl selling tickets...

Not many "chain" hotel around the S.E. part of Calgary. The Blackfoot has nice rooms, comfie beds and a friendly front desk staff. The restaurant (Green's) is aweful. The "other side" pub/bar is loud, but the daily specials are good (wings, burgers). It also has multiple pool tables and is connected to a large comedy club. In between the 2,...
