Official Description (provided by the hotel):: The Boathouse B&B has a truly fantastic location on the water's edge overlooking Charlottetown Harbor. The home, originally built with integral boathouse, has been completely renovated to very high standard with luxurious decor. We offer friendly hospitality and a high standard of cleanliness. All rooms have en-suite facilities and cable TV. FREE wireless internet is available in all rooms. Two bedrooms have recently had A/C installed. There is also off street parking. There is no smoking allowed in the house. From the decks you can take in some of the most breathtaking sunsets; see the cruise ships come and go; or watch the yachts racing on the Hillsborough River.In the Recreation room (converted from the original boathouse) you can watch TV on a super size screen, play board games, choose a book from the library or just step outside and enjoy the beautiful garden. It is also possible to kayak around the Cove or across the river to the Marina (experience, weather & tide permitting). Experience the best of PEI from one central location. The Boathouse B&B is only 5 minutes drive from historic downtown Charlottetown with its shops, museums,theaters & restaurants. You can also take lobster fishing or seal watching excursions from the Marina. The Boathouse is just 25 minutes from Green Gables, Cavendish & the North Shore with its white sandy beaches and dunes and only 5 minutes from the South shore with its red sand beaches. “Follow up Visit”

After our first visit in September 2011 we managed to return as early as June/July 2012 for 4 days in the Master Suite. Everything perfect as last time; the view from the house's verandah even better than the first visit thanks to renovation there. “More than expected”

Don't let the photo fool you, this is not "only" a normal house it is very deceiving. It is absolutely amazing, upscale and meticulously kept, we especially loved the bathroom in the Master suite. The owners are very friendly, accommodating and willing to help in any way. The breakfast was incredible to say the least. Will definitely return someday.

“Home Away from Home”

2 Nights in the Master's Suite. Definitely five star - sparkling clean, beautiful views, spacious and comfortable shared areas. Delicious food at a beautifully set table with a view. Refreshments (tea/coffee) available outside of meal times. Wonderful hosts gave us lots of suggestions for sightseeing based on their own and other travelers experience.

“Comfortable, quiet and sea view”

We stayed at the Boathouse B&B 2 nights in August this year. The hosts, Shirley and Dave, were very nice and helpful. The room and the bed were very comfortable and quiet. It had a wonderful view across the water to Charlottetown, and you can see the beautiful sunset on the deck of the room.
