Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The farm has only 4 rooms, but they are large and comfortable. The family is exquisitely friendly, and the breakfast is gorgeous. Very good value for your money. A beautiful experience in a region that deserves to be explored more.

We spent 5 days with friends at Sophie's and enjoyed every minute of it! Sophie and her whole family are very friendly and helpful and made sure we had a very pleasant stay. The rooms are spacious with a warm country-style. Kleingoeft is a very small town but with a lot of other towns, cities and regions in reach. At night the city and Sophie's place becomes very quiet, but you may be able to hear one of the two horses fart :-) We are defiantly going to be back next year to enjoy the great breakfast with home made bread, cake, juice etc. again. Highly recommended! :)

Sophie's farm is absolutely fabulous. And so is she... She did a fantastic job of renovating this beautiful farm. The room we were in was spacious and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious, everything is homemade. She knows how to create a warm atmosphere and we had a great time talking to our breakfast partners. I highly recommend this address and will certainly be back.

We stayed on this charming farm at the end of October for 4 days and it was a wonderful choice. Sophie is a charming hostess - so friendly and helpful and hospitable. We felt like personal guests in her home. The setting is so pretty; our room was very large , comfortable and beautifully decorated with a big bathroom and large soft towels and a private balcony. It overlooked the courtyard on one side and the farm and surrounding fields on the other. Sophie prepared a lovely breakfast , both delicious and aesthetic and explained to us about the juice, cheeses , jams, meats and cakes we had each day.( Each day something different.) She advised us what restaurants were recommended and made our bookings and helped us plan our daily itinerary.I recommend this accommodation wholeheartedly and hope I have another opportunity to be in the area and visit.

Sophie's farm is tucked away in a small village not far from Strasbourg. The old barn has been renovated and we had a lovely large room on the first floor with en-suite, sitting area and balcony. Through email we arranged for a reservation at a restaurant in a nearby village for the evening. Sophie does not speak English, but communication was easy. She is a very hospitable hostess. The breakfast was fantastic, with homemade jams, yogurt, juice and excellent bread and cake. If you are planning a driving vacation in this part of France, stay at least one night here. You will not be disappointed.

What a great getaway. This lovely farm is run by a lovely farmer hostess, Sophie, who has a great heart and passion on receiving guests and share her home, show her farmland, horses, ducks, cherry trees, vegetables and have the breakfast table filled with all home made food, pear apple juice, bread, jams, yogurts, cheese. Unbelievable! You must see by yourself. The room is great with comfortable bed, very modern large and stylish bathrooms, a nice sofa corner next with french door to the balcony, which my son and I sat for a couple of hours reading in an immense quietness and comfort. I saw a comment about Sophie doesnot speak french, it's good to know but it really doesnot matter, she successfully manages to show things, provide recommendations and even make reservation for you in local restaurants. As much as my family loved place, we want it to be successful and more welcoming to other guests, so we suggested to the hostess to supply the rooms with permanent fans, but the two days we visited, the temperature was not normal and reached 32!! This is a must do and acquire farm experience! Very close to A lovely town of Saverne and the vineyard route of Alsace. This is a place for people who are looking for uniqueness, diversity, and enriching travel experience. I highly recommend this place!

This delightful farm has three beautifully renovated rooms in the rustic style. The farm is situated in the beautiful countryside between Strasbourg and Saverne. Our room was large with a beautiful modern en-suite (with shower). There was two extremely comfortable twin beds that could, if required, be pushed together. The pretty sofa and single arm chair matched the curtains which were of a rose floral fabric, and very pretty. Everything was of good quality, with attention to detail. The owner, Sophie, was a charming and very friendly hostess, but does not speak English (she understands a little). If you want to practice your French then this is the place to go! Breakfast was superb, with homemade jams, homemade yoghourt, fruit, delicious fruit juices, ham and cheese, and of course delicious bread. Having visited many Bed and Breakfast establishments over the years, this rates in my top 5. This delightful farm can be highly recommended with confidence.

This beautiful old farm is situated in a small rural farming hamlet, about 10 minutes drive from Saverne, and 25 minutes from Strasbourg. I was a bit concerned as I couldn't find any reviews on the property when I booked it, but my gut feeling from the web site was good, and on arrival we weren't disapointed. Sophie, the owner was very helpful (be aware she doesn't speak English), her breakfasts were amazing, home made yogurts, home made fruit juices (which were divine), fresh fruit from the farm, meats, cheeses, home made jams (a fantastic selection), fresh breads, and kugelhopf. She has just 3 rooms, which are across the court yard from the main farm building, umbrellas are provided, should you need to cross for breakfast on a rainy day. Our room was huge, with comfy beds, crisp linen, desk area, comfy chairs, outside balcony, and modern contempory bathroom. The rear window looked across the fields, with horses and chickens. We only stayed two nights, but felt really relaxed. It's a good base to use if visiting Strasbourg (use the tram and park and ride, which is clean, and excellent value for money), and it is close to the Alsace wine route. Amazing value for money, highly recommended!!
