Second time staying at the resort and we were really disappointed both with the staff and the house we were given. We hired a couple of the chalets by the lake and the location was pretty; not as busy as the main estate of chalets further up the road. We stayed at Retallack (in two Polzeath 4 bed homes) in April 2013. No complaints at all. Minor issue of a missing dining chair was resolved within minutes and a quick call to the concierge at gone 11pm to end some revelry in a nearby hot tub resulted in a good night's sleep. Will definitely return.
