We unexpectedly stumbled onto this gem of an apartment, and had no idea it was associated with the Baden-Powell Language School. This affiliation is a must to explore another time. A rarity in Mexico is a comfortable bed (I prefer softer) and enough water pressure to rinse away hair shampoo, add the convenience of a kitchenette, free WiFi and furnishings... More

I'm finally getting around to my review of this casa and also the school that is affiliated. The casa was more than adequate in both location and facilities. While I attended the excellent school for two weeks my wife, (who already speaks Spanish) explored this wonderful historic city, shopped and made awesome meals in the kitchenette within our unit. The... More

I recently spent 2+ weeks in Apt E at Casa Baden-Powell and can recommend it as convenient, clean, reasonably priced and safe. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to prepare a meal (even a blender and a molinillo!) The bed was very comfortable, and the sheets were high quality, soft cotton. The shower is the only one... More

When we travel, we like to have a kitchen to cook in so we don’t have to eat all of our meals out. We found a great little apartment online. Casa Baden Powell is a little apartment complex around the corner from the Baden Powell Institute. Behind the double locked door on the street is a lovely hall with skylights... More

Wanted to go back to Morelia to spend more time in this beautiful city and wanted something other than the typical hotel room so we booked the Baden-Powell apts. They're quiet, clean, just lovely and with all the kitchen appliances needed to make breakfast without going out early in the morning.A very reasonable price, you just can't go wrong!!

We enrolled our kids age 8 and 7 in the Baden-Powell language school during Thanksgiving weekend. The school set up everything - airport pickup and drop off, host families for our two kids and the apartment for the remaining family. Everything was top-notch and very affordable. We will be heading back this summer!

For 2 winters I attended the Baden Powell school to study Spanish and lived with a family. The following year I returned to Morelia as I wanted my husband to see this wonderful city. So I booked the Baden Powell apartments. Our apartment was beautifully decorated but simple with Mexican art. The furnishings were very comfortable and the kitchen worked... More

When you can stay in a small apartment near the centre of town that is modern, clean, secure and friendly why would you stay anywhere else ? We rented a one bedroom apartment for a week and the experience was excellent

I'm writing this review to let everyone know that not only is this a great place to stay, but also that the travel advisory issued by the US State Dept should be ignored unless you intend to travel to one of the smaller towns Michoacan where the narcos are a strong presence. As a tourist in Morelia you have nothing... More

This is a fantastic "apartment" building where you can have your own good size one bedroom and up apartment for a reasonable price. After travelling in hotels for a while you can really appreciate staying here and enjoying the new, clean, rooms with a great firm king size mattress. Basically this is a large home converted into apartments. The hosts... More
