Granted there are stairs, however this small intimate resort is great and staff is friendly, attentive and just wonderful. If you want an ocean view and large deck this is the place. Small price to pay is the amount of stairs you need to climb depending which condo they give you. You are walking distance to almost everything.

If you are injured or otherwise NOT able-bodied, Portofino is probably not the place you want to stay…the stairs are real and plentiful. Our stay at Portofino was lovely. Everything else you read is accurate in my opinion. The only thing I would mention is the beaches because I wish I had known. I was disappointed in Medano Beach.
