a very good weekend. clean and tidy room. food great and the craic in the bar with the locals was good friendly banter. michael's talk on local history and what to see is very informative. sights and views around the area breathtaking(why would you want to go anywhere else). More

couldn't get any cheap ryanair flights for the first week in October so we drove from west cork to donegal 7hrs. We stayed in killbegs (nothing to see unless your into commercial fishing) Then in 5* hotel on locke eske just outside donegal town. locke eske is beautiful. For me the drive up would of been wasted unless we went... More

Booked this place because of all the brilliant reviews but wasn't that impressed. Maybe my expectations got too high. Don't get me wrong, the views and hospitality was amazing but it definitely wasn't 5 stars. This was my B-day and I wanted just to get away for couple days somewhere nice and quite. The owners were really nice and hospitable,... More

I had high expectations going to the Seaview Tavern, the reviews here and elsewhere all speak of the excellent service, the great food and beautiful views from the rooms. This review is no different. We arrived up late on Friday evening and were greeted by our host Michael. This man has put his heart and soul into his business and... More

Sue and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay last week. The sea, sky and weather were unforgettable. The room and view were superb. Finally the food and hospitality could not be excelled. Michael, Catriona and Roland the chef are to be congratulated. In summary, as we are in Dublin and about to leave for Holyhead, our stay with at the Seaview... More

Stayed one night at the Sea View Tavern Malin Head Donegal. We had two very large and comfortable rooms with great views of the sea. The night we stayed we were hit by what was left over from hurricane Katia with winds of 85 miles an hour. Michael and his wife made our stay very pleasant and Michael’s stories and... More

The restaurant was excellent, the menu varied and the portions very generous. Both Catriona and Michael made us very welcome and the staff... More

My husband and I stayed at the Seaview Tavern for one night and it was fantastic. We had read the brilliant reviews on tripadvisor and we were not disappointed. Our host Michael was a very friendly man and seen to all our needs. Our room was lovely, with everything you would expect from a 4 star hotel. We had our... More

I have just returned from a wonderful three night stay at The Seaview Tavern. Like some other reviewers, due to a last minute booking my room was at another location about a two minute drive away however the accommodation was lovely. It was cozy and comfortable, with a view over the surrounding countryside to the sea. The complimentary bottled water... More
