We stayed 1 night in this spotlessly clean house, attending a wedding. A nice welcome from Christina with tea and home made cakes on arrival. We had the ground floor ensuite which is also suitable for wheelchair users. The bed was very comfortable and we did use the electric blanket as the weather in mid March was rather cold. Breakfast was enjoyable with... More

We stayed at the Ardmore Country House for two nights. Our room was beautiful and clean. We really felt cosy snuggling up in our electric blanket at night! Christine was very welcoming, offering us tea and hot scones with homemade jam when we arrived! She also was very helpful recommending things to do around the area during our stay. Our... More

My first visit to Ireland was made especially nice by the wonderful accommodations at the Ardmore House. Comfortable, warm and charming, my stay was everything I could hope for. The Proprietor was knowledgeable and generous with her information regarding the area and provided excellent advice on points of interest.

This B&B is exceptional. Every detail was perfect. The homemade scones and muffins were delicious. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean. Location was lively in the day and quiet at night. We have stayed in a few places in Ireland in the past few years but will definitely make the Ardmore Country House our "Ireland Home" from now on.... More

We stayed with Christine in her lovely home for one night on our journey through Ireland. We were there on a Wednesday night and got the incredible opportunity to join Christine and some friends for a music session at a pub about 6 miles down the road. It was an experience we will never forget. Breakfast was wonderful. We highly... More

Lovely old house and a host who is helpful and professional. Didn't get the 'wow' factor that many other reviewers have described. We found it to be maybe slightly better than your average bed & breakfast, but Its central Ireland location makes it ideal for touring.

We absolutely loved this B&B. Christina has done such a wonderful job of restoring and maintaining this beautiful 200 year old home and gardens. She showed us to our room on the ground floor which was huge and filled with antique furniture. The bathroom was large and beautiful. Then we were invited into the sitting room where Christina had started a... More

Ardmore Country House is everything you imagine an Irish Country House to be- a comfortable, spacious Georgian home with beautiful gardens, enclosed by a stone fence and iron gate. The owner, Christina Byrne, is incredibly gracious, exemplifying 'cead mile failte'. From a warm greeting with tea and fresh baked scones to helping guests plan what to see and do, Chris'... More

During our 3 week, fast paced honeymoon in Ireland, we stayed in a LOT of bnbs, and this remains one of our favorites. When we arrived, we got coffee and scones in front of a fire, and help with trying to visit Leap Castle, the reason for our stay in the area. Our room was one of the biggest ones... More
