As a repeat guest in Uno, I can reconfirm that Uno remains fairly unique for the offering on Tulum beach. Uno offers a mix of unique experiences and despite being in the middle of a busy stretch has a remote and solitary sense – a sense that can run for an enduring period of time if you don’t stray far.... No two ways about it -- this is a gorgeous, well-kept, perfectly situated property. Our cabana, Supernova, was one of the smaller ones, but still had a beautiful layout and direct view of the water. The breakfast was delicious, although not available until 8, and they only gave you the tiniest ever cup of coffee and then vanished. Also, while they... More

UNO is a unique place. While it has more of a campground layout than a hotel, you will feel like you are there with your best friends that you met that day. Everyone I met was kind and open. In the morning I stumbled into a sunrise chanting session, and one evening a meditation. This is a great place for... More

we stayed for 1 week in Sitar (one of the cabañas) and for 3 nights in a tent. I have to say that I think it was quite expensive, but then Tulum is an expensive vacation spot. the Astrolodge's vibe is very high, it is an amazing place to be, if you are a little bit more on the hippie... More

This is Tulum as it was 20 years ago. Huts made of trees with Open air toilets and showers. No electricity but candles. Many Yoga and meditation friends - all very friendly, as the Uno team. Very good breakfast! Prices 100 to 150 bucks per hut and night. That was much cheaper 20 years ago.

This place is great!! The beach is 10/10 absolutely perfect... soft white/pinkish sand like babypowder.. breakfast is simple and fills you up just right, not to heavy, not to light. The atmosphere is 10/10, very laid back and chill, nudity is not an issue. Perfect place to getaway with that special someone, or perfect place to meet that special someone.... More

First time i was at UNO it was only the music room and another palapa, they would let people stay and pay what they could, at lunch time there were always vegetarian food and cool people to hang, it was the place in Tulum where you could check the kin of the day according to the mayan calendar. Now they... More

Very nice setting, very ecofriendly (though a bit too enviromental friendly when it comes to the use of toilets). All together, Tulum is Paradise and Uno Astro Lodge is a great way to experience it. The owner is a fun guy, though can be unfocused at times!

I think this lodge is the most unique from all the lodges along the Tulum seaside. It is 100% ecological, the cabanas are simple, but they have this somehting special, with the low beds, the open air bath area, shower, and the unique experience of the toilet, which does not flush, there is no water, you only through leaves in... I actually stayed next door at Shambala Petit (also amazing), but took all my meals, and practiced sitting and yoga (and many other special moments) at Uno. We had music by some of the people staying onsite (there is a community at the back of the resort that are in tents for extended periods of time) three evenings, which was... More
