This place is about 45m down Boca Paila from Tulum. Dirt road, bumpy, but easily drivable. Worth every minute. the lodge sits on the beach side. Beautiful, deserted, white sand beach. The fishing is a walk across the street and down a boardwalk to the dock. The fishing was fantastic. Gorgeous bay, tons of shallow water flats, rimmed in mangroves.... More

I'm an editor-at-large for Field & Stream and have had the good fortune to fish from Mongolia to Alaska, the Bahamas to the Mississippi Delta. I had the single best day of saltwater fishing in my life at Boca Paila Lodge: 10 bonefish, snook of 16 and 12 pounds, a jack that must have gone 10 pounds. And a mystery... More

This was my second trip down to Tulum and my second time booking Boca Paila guides. Both times the fishing was good. Numerous bonefish and permit. This time around our guide was Juan. He spoke very clear English and worked to keep us on fish ALL DAY...even put in extra time looking for a tarpon to try to get my... More

Set on a vast, lush beach. Boca Paila Lodge has the longest histroy and pedigree of the Yucatan fishing lodges. They offer flats fishing, kite surfing, and eco-trips. The food and service are flawless.

Of all of the lodges we host trips to Boca Paila is our favorite. It has a very dependable fishery and is a great place to take first time saltwater anglers. It is also one of the best places to catch a grand slam. Our recent trip saw our group catch 3 Gran Slams a Super Grand Slam and a... More

I was here about nine months ago. On my trips into the Sian Kaan I always spend a few nights at Boca Paila Lodge. Bedsides the great rooms, food and service they have the best fishing guides in the Reserve IMHO. They are the only lodge with skiffs to get you in skinny water 99% of the other guides use... More

My husband and I have visited Boca Paila a number of times. We LOVE it. The fishing is wonderful. The food is the BEST in Mexico and the view is like no other. We can not wait to go back ASAP. Make sure you have your sunscreen the sun does get strong. You open your door onto the beach. The... More

An extremely comfortable and professionally run lodge. I came this time in august with a friend to go fishing. The guide was great and we caught many species of fish. The rooms and service here are impeccable and the beach is fantastic. I will be back again soon

This was my second stay at BP. I was concerned because I was with my wife and she doesn't fish and is a Vegan. NO PROBLEM. From the start everything was easy. I booked my trip thru Claudia the representative at BP. She knows everything about the area and speaks perfect English. You can reach her at info@bocapaila.com. I've been... More
