The first room they gave us had two twin beds even though they told us it would have one king, and the toilet was dirty and didn't flush. Los Aluxes, is a great hotel in a fantastic location. Close to many Plazas and restaurants. the pool is wonderful and the staff very nice and helpful.

I'm Mexican. I stayed at Los Aluxes for almost a week. The hotel is good. The buffet breakfast is great. The rooms are a little old. I think it was worth it because it is very close to Merida's center. We went there by foot everyday.

This place is over rated and over priced. It basically resembles a no frills motel in the US. The location is decent (its a couple blocks to the city center) but the hotel was loud and noisy. The room and decor is basic, the bathroom was dirty and there was no remote for the TV. They don't provide basic amenities... More

The beds and pillows were absolutely horrible. They were so hard that we woke up sore and could only stand it for one night. The brunch was excellant but expensive.
