Low cost .simple food,simple rooms,but excellent service.i said excellent.it is a good hotel for families and also for a short vacation in Merida.(2 days or so) Keep in mind that it is not a luxury hotel.it says that it has four stars but I will actually rate it at about four stars.

We stayed at Hotel Del Gobernador with our tour group. It’s a pleasant hotel, good location, very clean, rooms are spacious, pool is clean, WIfi works well. Breakfast service is very efficient. Overall, a very reasonable hotel for its category.

This hotel has a good location, close to the Zocalo and to the markets etc (and a lavanderia close). Good air conditioning. A little noisy, but not too bad. Restaurant okay (only ate breakfast there). Wifi all through the hotel. We had a spacious room.
