This hotel is located close to the zocalo, historic sites and some wonderful dining experiences. The rooms are large with really (I mean really!) comfortable beds. The bathrooms are spacious, although the hot water system is a bit tricky to adjust. There is a nice roof-top terrace with views to the surrounding hills. The staff try hard, and can organise... This is one of the few hotels in Oaxaca that permits pets and our pug was welcomed with open arms. The staff is extremely accomodating. The restaurant is reasonably priced with healthy dining options. The location could not be better. Overall, a good value for the money and we will definitely return. A lot of the complaints in the comments... More

This hotel is very pretty. The rooms are descent, with high ceilings, but some of the rooms lack amenities like safe deposit boxes, acs etc. The wifi service was pretty bad as well... But being on vacation, all this is not of as much importance as service. The wait staff was very cordial but really slow at the same time.... More

This is a very pretty property with a decent management. The rooms are all different and most have all promised amenities. You do however need to watch for rooms which are missing the advertised amenities (a/c, safe deposit boxes, etc). The check-in experince here was the worst I have had in a while (and I stay in hotels everyweek). We... More

This place is excellent- the courtyard arcade architecture right in the middle of Oaxaca by the museums, zocolo etc. is part of it... but then the rooms and the gardens are amazing. The restaurant for breakfast was very very good. Recommend the ex-convent a block away for dinner- amazing.

We had seen a bad review complaining about noise, and we thought it was just bad luck for the reviewer, but it wasn't. We could not sleep and decided to leave the next day. Unpolite guests and bad infrastructure made it impossible to sleep and first some people gathered in the atrium, speaking loudly, after 12AM, and later, some guys... More

Is a hotel with an artist touch. Famous painters such as Toledo and Zarate, among others, made their contribution to de design. Very well situated, quiet, good food. Try it
