I have stayed at Camino Real quite a few times and the experience has always been very good. It was built in 1968, but keeps impeccable. You may not know it was built by two of the most famous Mexican architects, Luis Barragan and Ricardo Legorreta. The building is magnificent. The lobby has a huge and beautiful Tamayo mural. It... This hotel is extremely nice with its Mexican deco and helpful staff, it's worth every penny. Just a little detail which surprised me... Besides the pricy room, we have to add parking which is normal in Mexico City specially in that district, but Internet has also an extra cost, per day!!!! Ridiculous! I was very disappointed and will not stay... More

I was very impressed by the size of the hotel when we arrived by cab. The check in was quick and staff very courteous. There are 7 restaurants with one very cool bar over a water floor. It's a floating platform. The price is strap but you are in the best neighborhood in town. 175$ USD a night. I was... More

I stayed at the hotel for 4 days for a business trip and what can I say, the hotel is very spacious my room was a short distance to the gym, reception and various restaurants. The restaurants and cafe's provided plenty of choice and one was 24 hour. The cost wasn't the cheapest but the quality of the food, choice... More

The hotel is not in the cheap end neither concerning the price of the rooms or the food, if you consider the general price level, but it is worth every penny. Great and courteous service, very good food (but hey, this is Mexico) and spacious and clean rooms. The pool area is large with a heated pool (rather hot, actually,... More

As we are usually griping about treatment by Expedia, airlines and hotels, I wanted to write a really good review. This week our flight from Philadelphia to Dallas was cancelled because of mechanical problems. American Airlines were unable to book us on a flight to Dallas that would connect to Mexico City in time for some very important meetings and... More

I have stayed here on business trips several times over the past years - this weeks visit again confirms why Camino Real Polenco is one of my favorit hotels in the world. Beyond excellent service and restaurants as to be expected of its class - Camino Real Polenco offers a truly unique experience that never & more luxuorious hotels around... More

What seems to have been a great place once, is now lacking attention from the administration. The place is beautiful, service nice but not great. But location is superb! and with many good food choices. You really won't be missing anything, but you know a place of this kind could be so much better. What makes it even? The price!... More

I have stayed at this hotel a few times and it is well situated for business in the Polanco or Reforma areas. The best thing that I like about this hotel is the food. They have a very good choice of restaurants in the hotel. The hotel is spacious and has plenty of space for meeting in quiet envrionement. The... More

This hotel used to be the best in Mexico City. I just been there and I was really disappointed. It is old,it needs urgently a remodelation! The rugs are awful! The bathroom amenities are cheap. The gym is too crowded that you don't enjoy excercising. The lobby bar is not cosy any more. When I did my reservation by email... More
