I used to stay at the Bristol for business at least twice a month a few years ago. I just came with the family for a weekend at the big city and found the Bristol unchanged in a good way, same good, no frills service, great Mexican food at the restaurant, and clean rooms. WIFI is free now, and the... More

I've been there twice. The first time I didn't like it but I decided to give it a second chance as it was convenient for my meetings. I was proved wrong. Second time was even worse than the first. Very old hotel, slow internet, not a proper chair in the room to sit down if you want to use your... More

I stayed here for a week with work. The location's great as it's within easy walking distance of lots of restaurants, a nice park and a number of tourist attractions. The rooms are very clean, the customer service is fantastic and it felt safe with double locks on the doors and clearly marked emergency exits. Any problems you have they... More

We stayed two nights enroute to Oaxaca. We arrived after midnight and found the security was very good. We were checked in promptly and our luggage was immediately taken to our room. We wanted to get something to eat and got a map and directions to a nearby Sanborns. We walked and felt completely safe with a strong police presence... More

I stayed there for 3 nights. First and second night everything was great. Nice service, excellent ubication, nice rooms for the price and the neighborhood.... The very last night I stayed there, I decided to have dinner in the little restaurant located in the lobby. I ordered a club sandwich and a beer, so far so good. Then I asked... More

As I said, I have been coming here for over 25 years and you can not beat the price, the service, and the security. It is in the embassy zone, an the American Embassy is just three blocks away, need I say more. The restaurante has a good breakfast buffet for an extra fee of $10 - $12 depending on... More

I was in mexico city for one week and chose the bristol hotel because of its location, price and recommendations. And I wasn't disappointed. The room was small, but clean and functional. I had asked for a room away from the street to elimenat as much noice as possible and I was granted that wish. Breakfast was ok and not... More

I have stayed several times at the Bristol in Mexico City and think it is excellent value. The staff are eager to please (some English spoken), the restaurant food is good, and the rooms comfortable. The location is great, close to Reforma, the British and US Embassies, and the area is well patrolled by police cars.

Close to Reforma and U.S. Embassy you will find this timeless spot. Very happy people is ready to serve you and also a great place to have like "home made" meals. Don't expect luxury, this is well located calm place.

We had to pay nearly 90 USD for a double without breakfast so we expected at least a 4 Star hotel! No way, this Hotel looks (and smells) like it hasn't seen any remodelation for the last 30 years. Dark hallways without any window, incredibly dusty aircon, walls as thin you can hear the snorring from both bedrooms next to... More
