We flew to Mexico city for a 6 day sight seeing trip. The Hampton Inn was in a perfect location. Two blocks from Zocalo,The Presidential Palace, and the subway. The hotel is very clean and secure with a security guard on duty 24/7 who speaks English. All the front desk staff were excellent especially Eric and Alejandro. A very good breakfast was... More

This was the cheapest hotel of our 2 week holiday and one of the nicest. The rooms were clean and comfy and quiet. The staff were very friendly and helpful making many recommendations to us. The roof terrace was lovely and the free breakfast is great. Location makes it such great value- definitely recommend! More

Nice, modern, comfortable rooms, although the internet access is not wireless. The king room with sofabed was an internal room, so no street noise and spacious enough for myself, my partner and our 3yr old. The hotel itself is a couple of streets own from the Zocalo and makes a good base in the heart of downtown Mexico City. The... More

The hotel is a historical building, just few steps from the main square, in the zocalo. Our room was big, and finally there was a door to separate the bedroom from the bathroom. we aere at the 5th floor but there wasn't a nice view of the city. The breakfast was huge with a lot of things to eat. The... More

Beautiful hotel, colonial style, classical / comfortable / clean rooms, great location - 5 minutes away from Zocalo (main plaza in the heart of the historic center of Mexico City), safe area even during evening / night. Tea - coffee machine in the room / complimentary tea - coffee available in the lobby 24 hours / day, free Wi-Fi /... More

There are some great things about the Hampton Inn. First is the great location in the historic center, a few blocks from the zocalo. We felt very comfortable walking around during the day and at night. Rooms are clean and comfortable, and the hotel makes a washer/dryer available--very handy if you're traveling for a while. Breakfast (included) is adequate, and... More

Beat value for money in the historic enter of Mexico City. Nice, modern and clean rooms. Good front desk service. Amazing location during the day...but the center is alway is little dodgy at night. They need to open a small bar in the lobby, would be really neat. More

At the time of our booking this Hampton Inn was number 1 in Mexico City with Tripadvisor. We had many problems during our 11 day stay. Positive: The hotel's location, character building, clean and modern looking hotel. Minor Problems: The room keys were not correctly programed - for the first four days we had to keep going back to the... More

If you are not picky and never at the hotel, and need a good location - then this may be the place for you. We loved the location of this hotel as it was a 5 min walk to the Zocalo and decent restaurants are close by. However, two main issues for this hotel: 1. Staff at the reception are... More
