The quality of this place is nothing spectacular buts its not bad by any means. When I stayed here in January 2013 I payed 150 pesos for a double room, thats crazy cheap for how nice this place is. Theirs a tradition open courtyard with hanging plants and spiral stairs up the second floor. Casa Elvira is a great place... More

I have stayed in this hotel several times, and I say it´s one of the most nice ones in zihuatanejo. It is simple but the family who runs it are realy, realy REALY nice. It´s simply perfect for the ones who dosen´t need the luxury stuff.

We spotted Casa Elvira from the balcony of another hotel room we were viewing and decided to take a better look. We were shown to a cosy room with en-suite bathroom and decided we would stay the night! We ended up staying 5 days at Casa Elvira and enjoyed every moment of it. The room was cleaned daily and new... More

Great location in town, close to the market and various restaurants. The room was bright and clean (on the second floor). There is a common room on the ground with a kitchen, fully equipped with drinking water, fridge, stove top and cooking utensils. Management was very friendly. For the price, it was an amazing stay.

I loved staying in this traditional guesthome while in Zihua. It was safe, and comfortable and the owner is a delight. The morning birds would wake me up each day and the locale is in the heart of town. First we stayed in a room with a two big beds and a shared bath, just fine! After we returned, we... More

This family-owned establishment is in an excellent location at an excellent price. Situated right on the malecón, it's close to all of the action and the beach. Wander across the sidewalk in the early morning hours to watch the fishermen bring in their catch to sell or you can bring a towel and sunblock to roast the day away. It's... More
