We visited in dec 2009 and they were in a middle of renovations. I was pregnant with our 5th child and in need for a rest before delivery. I loved the pool area with the small living areas but you have to wake up early to get one. We are early birds so we would go down and get a...

My parents and I had a wonderful time at Quinta Real during our 5 night stay. Everyone was very friendly and learned my father's name immediately. the thatched roof lobby is separated from the guest rooms by a short sidewalk lined by plants and flowers. The whole complex meanders along the beach front and is not very big compared to...

We had a lovely relaxing weekend at the Quinta Real, the highlight is the pool which is beautifully situated, just get there early to put your towel on a sunbed! The cocktails and food by the pool were really nice, the food probably better than in the restaurant. The beach is nice and quiet although we didn't spend much time...

The Hotel is located in the new Diamante zone, close to the Airport ,and aprox 20 min by car from downtown Acapulco. The hotel was built on a hill with an excellent view of the Ocean and "Revolcadero Beach", There is a combined system of 2 separate elevators to access the swimming pool and beach.
The rooms are big and...

Great staff, good location away from the main bay and whilst the rooms are tired/dated they are in the process of being renovated. Directly on a quiet section of the beach at one end of the bay, good pools and very impressive grounds/common areas. The biggest letdown was the food offering and especially the breakfast which was way below what...

The lobby is amazing, the view so beautiful and the service very good, the problem started when they told us there was a construction going on (I called to ask for some last minute update about the hotel, services, etc and didn tell me), also...

Just got back from a peaceful getaway a the resort. Wonderful hotel for mature couples, newly weds and romancing lady friends. Armed guards, gated entrance and a wall separate you from the real Acapulco. The poverty stricken people of Acapulco really pull on your heart stings. I felt some guilt at being able to enjoy something in their own city...

We came to Acapulco for the sole purpose of catching a plane back home. Quinta Real suited our purposes - tight security, private beach, large rooms. We saved big money by booking with the property by phone.
Sadly, because we drove into Acapulco from back side of the city (having driven from San Agustinillo to Acapulco), we also saw 'behind...

Quinta Real is a very nice hotel. It has the "Gran Turismo" label which means is above 5 stars, but it is really a high end 5 star. Its fair price should be around 150 USD per night, instead of the 300-350 they ask.
The service is really good. From a welcome with a warm hand towel, to the front...
