I needed to get away for a few days and relax by the beach. I've never been to San Felipe and thought I'd check it out. The town sits on a bay at the top of the sea of Cortez and is about a four drive from Palm Springs or San Diego. San Felipe is a lot like Cabo, without... More

Excellent location! We were here for Memorial Day weekend on Friday and Saturday, left Sunday to beat the traffic. We stayed in one of the Bungalows that are literally 1 foot from the beach. We drove from Ensenada on Friday morning without having a room reserved. Luckily they had a cancellation and gave us the Bungalow for $120 a night.... More

Our room was dirty floor was not moped, towel were old and bathroom very small. The front clerk, supervisor Abelardo he is the son of the owner, a real stupid and prepotent young man. You have to be careful.with this character, He told us there was no more rooms to move us to a clean one, that was a lie.... More

Spend lots of time in Mexico, this has been by far our least favorite! Way over priced at $80/ night. No wash cloths in room or available!, wifi comes from bar or restaurant so if your room is not near will not receive. Service was terrible in restaurant yet the food wasn't bad. Sits at the end of town so... More

Nice location, easy walk to restaurants and shops. A little older. free WiFi but spotty service, no remote for TV in our room. Checked in around 9:00pm on Friday night and the ceramic tiled from looked dirty, when they did the room service on Sat morning it was clean. They organized a great Paella Festival with many teams competing for... More

We loved our room, the view, the location, the bar, the restaurant, the service. If only it had been warm enough to enjoy the pool, too! It was pretty quiet when we were there (late January), with few guests in the hotel. We were often the only guests in the bar or restaurant. Our room (and most of the others)... More

We arrived late like 10:30pm, there were nice English speaking guards at a security shack out front. They gave us our keys and told us where the room was. Very kind and helpful after a long drive from San Diego. The room was nice, very clean. All I can say is don't have high expectations. and then you wont be... More

Went down on business and stayed one night. The room faces the ocean, and the sunrise was gorgeous. The room is large, but old, old. About a 3-4 block walk to main town. For heat, they gave me a space heater. Would stay again for the view, right on the beach.

Just got back from one night stay here with my family and the location is fantastic. Right on the beach! Just a short distance to the main downtown too. But the best part is I accidentally left my phone in the room....went back hours after checking out and the housekeeper had found it and returned it to me....so honest :-)
