Me and my wife spend newyear eve here. And it become a newyears eve we will remember forever. Stage show on the square,atmosphere, sambadansing in the street and the dinner and show on the rooftop restorant. Positives: Smack dab in the middle of the salsa son music scene in Santiago and the historic district. Good hot water flow in the shower. Clean linen. ESPN and CNN on tv. Negatives: Elevator rarely works, be prepared to walk 5 flight of stairs.Terrible food and restaurant service. Internet 1 computer rarely works.

The location of the hotel great, right across from a main square where there's a lot going on all day. The place has character, but it's definately showing its age.
