Had a great experience. We stayed there for 3 nights in Havana in march 2013. It was clean.Nice bedrooms. Great breakfast and a great location. And Tere and her family were lovely, helpful and generous.

We spend our first night in Havana at Casa Maura. Perfect location and clean room. Maura is a lovely host. When we were struggled to find a pharmacy in the neighbourhood to get a bottle of mosquito repellent, Maura even offered us a free bottle.

Lovely room with en-suite bathroom, free run of the rest of the beautiful flat with balcony. Real family atmosphere, accomodating and warm yet unobtrusive. We really did 'feel at home'. Maura's quite modern-looking apartment was very comfortable and clean. It is only a couple of minutes walk from the Museum of the Revolution in Old Havana and the Malecon. For my first trip to Havana I was extremely pleased with my accomodations! Maura is your ideal hostess. Staying in this casa felt like home away from home. Amazing breakfast every morning and I agree with my roommate on the watermelon juice, it was fantastic. Highly recommend staying with Maura!!
