We stayed here as part of an organised tour of havana we enjoyed our 1 night here the big rooms & the food was really good another night would have been good to take in the whole hotel and the hall of fame was great to see

This is one of the finest hotels in Havana. It embodies the ole days when the Godfathers and mob bosses ran Havana. Rooms are clean, service is OK, but the view from the back patio of the hotel is spectacular

Although it is an icon, it is not great. The hotel is cavernous, perfunctory service, front desk people who have never gotten past the Soviet mentality and could care less about customer service. Hotel Nacional is a lovely historic building. We had a large room that overlooked the malecom that what was very clean and comfortable. Terrace bars are lovely. We really enjoyed the buffet breakfasts, huge selection, shortbread was particularly nice but all good.
