Just a short one night stay. Charmaine was the perfect hostess and provided us with a great packed lunch for our journey home. The location, at 1200 feet, is about as perfect as you can get, the accommodation ideal and the breakfast more than adequate. We look forward to the next time. James and Moira - 15/6/13

We stayed at Gelligravog for two nights and were so glad we chose this location. It provided great proximity for our day trips to Cardiff, Brecon Beacons, and Chepstow. Climbing the final road was a little intimidating, but it was worth it! We were awed by the amazing views out of our bedroom window and couldn't get enough of waking... More

What a wonderful place. Absolutely marvelous views, splendid location. We travelled from Australia and stayed for two nights. We were not disappointed. The hosts were very friendly and chatted freely.Would recommend it to any one wanting peace and quiet. The local pub does great evening meals and is not far away

It was well worth the effort to get to this B&B, and satnav really helped, although ours didn't get us all the way to Belle Vue Lane (put in Upper Cwmbran Road if yours can't find it, and do your homework on a Google map before you go!) Be prepared for the two hairpin bends and steepness of the climb... More

We stayed at Gelliravog for a week and absolutely enjoyed it. The hosts, Charmaine and Chris, were very friendly and gave us a warm welcome. The room was very beautiful, cosy and clean. We loved the very good breakfast and really enjoyed the vivid conversations with Charmaine and Chris at the breakfast table. The area and vicinity are picturesque. The... More

We picked Gelligravog Farm because of previous Tripadvisor reviews and also because of its location. We stayed 2 nights and hiked up the hill behind the farm the afternoon of our arrival and the next day we saw Chepstow Castle, Tintern Abbey and Raglan Castle. All 3 were within easy driving of the farm and were just spectacular. The farm... More

I stayed here one night when I was working in the local area. I chose it due to the high ratings on trip advisor and I wasn't disappointed. A very friendly welcome from Charmaine despite my late arrival from London. The room was cosy and the bed comfortable. The bathroom was adequate but not ladened with products like some are... More

What a pleasure it was to find this B&B and meet the couple who own it. I did have a few troubles locating it at first, mainly due to finding it difficult to accept word for word the accurate directions I had received and giving in to the dreaded "it can't be up this way" feeling-my first time to this...
