A solid little stone house , tucked into the hillside, around half a mile from Aberchalder swing bridge. It is a former post office which may or may not have the ghost of the former postmistress! It was a good place to stay while doing the Great Glen Way - especially as there are not many other places in the... More

Very nice rooms, excellent food, unbeatable central highlands location. Colin and Daniela were fantastic hosts we enjoyed our time spent with them very much (like friends in their home not like guests in a hotel). We stayed in 9 locations in our UK/Ireland trip and this was the best place we stayed.

On phoning to say we might arrive later than expected, we were advised on where to find dinner first, as there are not many places to choose from in this fairly remote part of the country. Similar helpfulness prevailed throughout our one-night stay. The bathroom was very well-stocked with goodies and the bath is a deep one, which is wonderful... More

With my fiance travelled around Scotland and this was the best B&B we used. We got a very warm welcome, the hosts were willing to help, give advice and entertain all of us staying there during breakfast with nice, funny stories about Scotland and the Scots :) I loved all little things every woman needs in her bathroom and my... Very nice homely place to have stayed, the owners were very welcoming and friendly. Everthing was tremendous, the room, the bed, the food, location etc etc... My 2 yr old boy also enjoyed meeting and playing with the two wee girls. If we are ever back this way we would definitely stay here again. Thanks again Colin and Daniella for... More

Located along the A82 and about 5 minutes drive from Fort Augustus, this is a perfect point from which to explore the surrounding area. Colin and Daniela provided us with a very warm welcome and could not do enough to make our stay as comfortable as possible and provided us with much useful information about the area. The Lodge is... Whilst visiting the fort Augustus area we stayed in Lundie View Guest House. The moment we arrived we were greeted by the two owners, Colin and Daniela, with their two girls. They were incredibly friendly and gave us a bit of background information on the area before we started exploring :D we felt relaxed and at home as soon as... More

We spent a night in Lundie View's Lodge just few weeks ago, but I can still remember how great it was. I am proud of meeting the owners Colin and Daniella, who were very helpful and polite with us. What is more, as much as we were with owners, I enjoyed listening Colin's stories about Scotland history and it is... More

We were proud to be Lundie View's first guests of the year. We were student backpackers who didn't book any accommodation in fear of bad weather in Scotland - which turned out to be a huge mistake on New Year's Day as all B&Bs were closed! After several frantic calls to all the B&Bs we could find on google, Lundie... More
